Stopped by today for gas. Could not get pump to work. Went inside and employee was very rude. I felt I was bothering him to purchase gas. I will not return to this station in the future.
The gas prices are fair, and the store is generally clean. But I have been in twice now and can smell the B.O. on the older men working the cash registers from across the counter while they are ringing up my purchases... Yuck.
No response.
Unfortunately, I did not get this man's name. In my dismay at his rudeness, I walked out of the store and didn't even make my purchase. Didn't want to further interact with a person with such a disdainful, negative attitude. He's youngish, probably in his early to mid-30s,with longish hair. Working the late shift on Friday, May 26 going into the 27th. I will be following up tomorrow in person with a manager. This guy doesn't need to work in any capacity where he deals with people face-to-face.
After having one of the worst customer service experiences ever with an employee calling himself Mohammed. Judging by other reviews, specifically left on Google, this Mohammed guy is a real issue for this location. Based on my experience with this beligerent, disrespectful employee I will not be returning to this location.
Saturday, 5/27/17 around midnight ET: Moments ago, I attempted to purchase a bottle of water tonight before heading home. I stopped by this Sunoco,which I noticed was just received a large delivery (large truck in the front of the store). There are literally no customers. So I go in, get my Aquafina, and head to the register. I see that the cashier (who I'd recognized from my visit to the gas station earlier this week - more on that later) was dealing with the shipment, so I hang out for like 30 seconds at check out. "Excuse me?" I ask.
I just come in to the store at the cashier I said hi hello but he didn't respond I thought it okay and then asked him please give me pack of Marlboro and it seams
I figure he didn't hear me, so again, I address him. "Excuse me,sir?" In a louder, but still-polite tone.
Again, no response.
"Yeah, I heard you the first three times,but I was obviously busy." So, he admits that he was actively ignoring me, a customer waiting to complete a transaction.
he didn't like or he is angry I asked him are you okay he finally respond in a roadway. I decide to put my review because this guy make me feel not good I hope that the owner will fix that and choose nice people and
I urge the manager/owner of this location to talk to this young man. The gas prices and the proximity to my house make this a go-to spot for me, but this is the absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced at a gas station--bad enough to prevent my from coming again.
"Yeah, and you ignored me three times,too. A 'hold on,miss, I'll be right with you,'" would've worked just fine," I shot back. He didn't say anything; he just looked like he didn't want to be bothered and had this general nasty air about him. I noticed this air a few days ago when I had come to this very same location to buy a 5-hr energy drink. The employee in question was sitting behind the register texting, not paying attention to the customers. It was during the day, so the station was a bit busier. And of course,he offered no apology for his inattention. I didn't really pay the exchange any mind...until my second encounter with him tonight.
I audibly sigh, and again ask "Excuse me?" when he finally responds.
