Big and spacious is a plus but can be crowded on weekends. Too bad that the homeless occupy seats for hours at a time. Also the kids section's noise levels carries and the parents don't really care that their child is crying or shrieking. Take them out to the lobby. Wifi is very good but censored. A library that censors information?

Best library in Fairfax County selection and seating-wise. Unfortunately you run into a lot of noisy high schoolers here, esp on weekends. Unfortunately the silent reading area could be larger (twice its current size) but I understand some of the difficulties that come along with that. Anyway, this is about as good as our mismanaged libraries get.

Very clean place and very quiet. Great for studying or reading.

This library is my favorite. It’s quiet, staff is helpful and friendly it is and located in such a convenient spot. You can easily spend the entire day here.

The staff at the desk on the 2nd floor are generally mean. It seems to me that they are discriminating against Asians. Yesterday evening, I was asking for a simple favor like a borrowing a stapler, however, a female desk staff who had one in her desk drawer didn't bother to lend it to me but asking me to go around the printer area and find one. I was lost first and asked her again where it was... she finally walked out of her place and pointed where it was and went right back to her place. Then I had to struggle how to use the electric stapler. After I figured out how to use it, then it stapled my documents in wrong place instead of where I intended. I wasn't born yesterday and I do use an electric stapler at work, however, the one there wasn't a user friendly. Not to mention the sound of stapling was horrible too. I had to come back to the desk, and asked for a staple remover and again a manual stapler.... and finally she took one out from her desk drawer! What I'm saying here is if something simple as lending a stapler was properly handled, it shouldn't cost my time about 20 minutes! She wasn't busy at that time, but just sitting behind the desk like a statue! Thank you to the lady that I was late in the evening class due to the whole deal of stapling only 6 pages of documents for my class! While I was driving to school, I couldn't resist thinking that if she would treat me different if I looked like her... a White T!
