I was having so much car trouble today. The tow truck guy who was able to get my car out of anti-theft mode told me it was my battery. So I went to auto parts store who told me it was not my battery, but my alternator. Finally, I was called Fairfax Auto Repair who were kind enough to fit me into their schedule same day, since I'm driving out of town for the weekend. They were able to confirm (thankfully) that I had no issues with either my battery or alternator. At Fairfax Auto Repair, they are very kind and have great customer service. If I have any other trouble in the future, they're the first place I'll go.
Each time I've gone to Fairfax auto, they've always been very quick to look at the car, and very quick to get the work done and at very reasonable prices. I'm personally going to be taking my car to Fairfax auto from now on because I've been quite impressed at the work as well as price and friendly customer service. I hope I've finally found one of the the holy grail auto shops that's so rare lol. I will update if anything negative ever comes up but at the moment I'm quite pleased and will continue to take my car to them.
Definitely recommend this repair shop! We've been taking our cars here for several years now and always have great service. The people are really nice and they always give you a fair price and check with you in advance before doing work. Always a great experience-thank you FAR!
I've had great experiences with Fairfax auto. The very first time I took my car to them I had to have it towed to the shop. I gave them a call to let them know my car would be coming, told them the issue, and they said they'd take a look once the car arrived. I was expecting it might be the next day before they were able to get around to checking my car out but instead they called me back only a few hours later saying they got the car, got it looked at and figured out what the issue was, and had a price quoted. I told them to proceed with the repair, again thinking, well, they have to order the part, it would take some time to install, so maybe it will be done tomorrow. But again they called me back in a very short few hours saying they got the part, installed it, and that they had actually found the part for a better price than quoted.
They have some of the best customer service you'll ever experienced at a mechanic shop. This family oriented business is fantastic! Their amazing technicians are super quick about diagnostics and repairs and the front counter staff is very thorough about explaining in layman's terms and always offer good value. Look no further!
